PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PEMBANGUNAN INFRASTRUKTUR DI KELURAHAN KAHURIPAN KECAMATAN TAWANG KOTA TASIKMALAYA

Abstract

The title of this research is “Community Participation in Infrastructure Development in Kahuripan Village, Tawang District, Tasikmalaya Regency”. Based on the author's observations in Purwasari Village, it was found that community participation in infrastructure development is not yet optimal. The research problem is then formulated as: "How is community participation in infrastructure development in Kahuripan Village, Tawang District, Tasikmalaya Regency?". The theory used in this research is community participation, according to Sutara in Tawai dan Yusuf (2020 : 21-22), which consists of participation in decision-making, participation in implementation, participation in monitoring and evaluation of development, and participation in utilizing development outcomes. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, and documentation. Analysis in this study uses an interactive qualitative model. Based on the research findings and discussion, it is concluded that community participation in infrastructure development in Kahuripan Village, Tawang District, Tasikmalaya Regency, is not yet optimal. Of the four participation dimensions analyzed, two dimensions have not been implemented well: participation in implementation and participation in monitoring and evaluation of development. Meanwhile, the dimensions that have been implemented well are participation in decision-making and participation in utilizing development outcomes.
